Foreign Minister Engages Future Leaders at the Dubrovnik Forum

The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E. Abdisalam Abdi Ali met with students from more than 30 countries on the sidelines of the Dubrovnik Forum. The session, facilitated by the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of Croatia, followed the students’ interest in the Minister’s remarks during the Forum’s panel on maritime security.

Students engaged the Minister on Somalia’s development, strategic location, East African Community membership, and offshore oil and gas exploration. They expressed particular interest in Somalia’s energy potential and its role in driving economic growth and investment. The Minister reaffirmed Somalia’s commitment to sustainable development, responsible resource management, and international cooperation.
